FAQ

Common Chain Link Fencing Questions in Lane County

Chain link fencing in Eugene typically runs $15 to $30 per linear foot installed. Galvanized is on the lower end, black vinyl-coated is on the higher end. Height, gate width, and post spacing all affect the final price. Contact Titan Fencing for a free on-site estimate.
Galvanized chain link has a silver zinc coating that prevents rust. Vinyl-coated chain link adds a layer of PVC in black, green, or brown over the galvanized wire. Vinyl-coated is more aesthetically finished and resists corrosion even better, making it popular for front yards, pool enclosures, and commercial properties.
For most dogs, a 5-foot chain link fence is sufficient. For large breeds or high jumpers, 6-foot is recommended. We can also add a top rail extension or coyote roller if escape prevention is the primary concern. Dog run enclosures typically use 2-inch or smaller mesh.
Chain link is the most common commercial perimeter fencing in Lane County. It is durable, low-maintenance, and easily secured with barbed wire or razor wire at the top. We install commercial chain link for contractors, storage facilities, schools, and industrial properties throughout Eugene and Springfield.
Chain link under 6 feet in the backyard and under 3.5 feet in the front yard generally does not require a permit. Commercial installations may have additional requirements. Titan Fencing can help determine what applies to your property.
Galvanized chain link lasts 20 to 30 years with minimal maintenance. Vinyl-coated chain link can last 30 or more years. We set posts in concrete to minimize ground contact and extend the life of the installation.
